I am very fortunate that I have been able to work in the fitness industry for over 36 years. In my day job I am the HR Manager for Talent and Wellness Development for the City of Pittsburgh. Daily along with a talented team I get to manage the professional development and wellness of the City of Pittsburgh’s 3,500 employees.
For my side hustle I presently teach are Boxing, Rowing and Cycling. I absolutely love helping people experience fitness. My training will take a person who was merely existing in life to experiencing all that life can give.
Some fun facts about me:
I am presently working on participating in 60 different workouts in honor of my 60th birthday. To date I have done 37 very different workouts.
“Fast After 50: How to Race Strong for the Rest of Your Life” by Joe Friel made a huge impact on how I see and train myself as an older athlete.
My favorite class to sweat in is the one that I am in at that moment. Not everyone “Gets” the opportunity to work out, so I am grateful for any class that I work up a sweat and burn off stress.
What I am Thinking:
– The fact that we get up every day is simply a miracle and we should always be ready to hit the ground running to share our life with others.
– My life is intentionally designed around being in service of others. So, every day I strive to make a difference in the lives of every person that cross my path.
– I want my legacy and future to be one where I will be recognized for my ability to show all humans that they are enough and that they matter.
